USARC

The United States Adaptive Recreation Center is a non-profit providing adapted recreation lessons and opportunities to physically and cognitively challenged children and adults through its winter and summer programs .

Located at Bear Mountain Resort in Big Bear Lake, the USARC is the only program of its kind in the region. Lessons are provided to people with spinal cord injuries, visual impairments, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, amputations, cognitive disabilities, cerebral palsy, brain injuries and many others.
