Convention Theme: “Urhobo Global Impact: Leadership, Legacy & Prosperity.

Host/Venue: The 2026 convention will be hosted by the Urhobo Progress Union, Ohio Chapter, at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 51 Walnut Street, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025. USA. UPU, Ohio.

To celebrate the Urhobo culture and exchange ideas for advancing the development of Urhobos in North America, Nigeria, and around the world, Urhobo sons and daughters, friends, supporters, and visitors from all over the world are invited to come together this September 3rd to 7th for the  2026 Urhobo Progress Union America (UPUA) National Convention. Additionally, this event will provide us with an opportunity to raise funds and form alliances with individuals and groups to support our nonprofit programs, such as the "Women in Shelter (WIS) Initiative."  Your attendance at this momentous occasion would be greatly appreciated.

Convention Registration Fees:  is $150.00 per person (13years and above).  Ticket price for children 3-12 years is $50.00 per child. Children less than 3 years old are free

Raffle Draw/Ticket Prices – This is designed to support all UPUA nonprofit programs, including the UPUA “Women in Shelter Initiative.” 

Raffle tickets are $2.00 each. A pack of10 tickets will sell for $20.00 each.

Three Consolation Prizes - $25.00 Each

Convention Programs Admission: All registered and paid attendees/delegates will be issued a Convention wristband upon arrival at the Convention. The Convention wristband ensures access to all convention activities beginning on Friday night, such as symposia, Saturday night convention reception, entertainment, cultural events, and Sunday night dinner/gala. All registered adult convention attendees will receive a convention brochure
