Impact Statement from Shrivasan

“The Dublin Irish Festival is more than an annual event. It is a coordinated effort to preserve culture. What influenced me most was not only the performances, but the infrastructure behind; the volunteers, organizers, and performers working in sync to sustain tradition. As someone who balances multi-cultural influences, watching families preserve Irish traditions across generations reminded me of the rituals, celebrations, and values rooted in my own Indian heritage. The festival showed me that identity is not something we inherit fully formed, but is something we participate, acquire, and shape. Community does not sustain itself passively; it requires engagement, stewardship, and continuity. The careful organization of the festival is the key binding force behind the success of the festival every year.”

Impact Statement from Varsana

“The Dublin Irish Festival celebration is one of the most annual celebrations | enjoy and now part of my life every year. The Dublin Irish Festival helped me to learn the culture, connection and identity. | started as a fun event with my family and friends, and gradually it tied a deeper connection. It gave me a space where | discovered my understanding of belonging, meaningful service and the importance of celebrating the culture with respect.”
